You can get help and assistance with any aspect of Northumbria University Library by contacting Ask4Help - by email, phone, or in person at Student Central locations at City Campus and Coach Lane Libraries and at City Campus East.

In addition, the Northumbria Skills Programme offers Library skills sessions which can support you in making the most of your time at university, and help you acquire the skills you need to become an independent and effective scholar.

These bookable sessions are held at City Campus and Coach Lane Libraries throughout the academic year, so you can access support when you need it. The sessions cover many topics including academic writing skills, giving accomplished presentations, and referencing your work correctly. There are also regular drop-in sessions so if you have a specific question or just need general study skills advice pop along – no appointment necessary!

Self directed help and resources are available at any time on Skills Plus. The Library's collection of helpguides, videos and other interactive material can help with all aspects of your academic study.
