There are a variety of guides available on Skills Plus to help you with searching for information, evaluating information, planning and writing, formatting and referencing. On the Skills Plus page, from "I need help with" select the option Writing a Dissertation.
In addition, Northumbria Skills Programme sessions are offered throughout the academic year. Classroom style workshops and drop-in sessions can support you as you work on your research. Bookable skills sessions are held at both City Campus and Coach Lane Libraries and cover many pertinent topics.
Regular drop-in sessions are also held at City and Coach Lane, so if you have a specific question or just need general advice pop along – no appointment necessary!
