If you think you have lost an item(s) in the University Library, please report to the Ask4Help desks at Student Central (City Campus Library, Coach Lane Campus Library) or the Law Practice Library and we will check to see if your item(s) has been handed in.

Otherwise contact Security, who can be reached on 0191 227 3999. All lost property items of monetary value found in the University Library will be handed to Security at the end of the day.

If you have lost something from which we can identify you, i.e. your smartcard or a USB with a file with your name on it we will endeavour to contact you either via telephone or e-mail.

Please note that we only keep USB sticks for a month after which they will be disposed of, even if we have managed to identify the owner and asked them to collect it.

You can also call Ask4Help on 0191 227 4646 or e-mail ask4help@northumbria.ac.uk if you are not able to come in person.
