You can come and see a careers adviser at the City Campus Library Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm during teaching weeks and 1:00pm to 4:00pm during vacation. This does not include institutional closure days such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Appointments are made as a 'drop-in' on a first come first served basis and can last up to 20 minutes with a Careers Adviser, depending on the type of query you have. To arrange a drop-in appointment please visit an Ask4Help point at the City Campus Library and we will add your name to the list to see the drop-in careers adviser. N.B. best not to arrive close to 4.00pm or you might miss out if there are people ahead of you.
We are also running a Careers Pit Stop, offering drop-in support and advice with our Careers Information Team. This service operates between 1.00pm and 3.00pm each Tuesday and Thursday at City Campus Library.
If you wish to use the service at our Coach Lane Campus, please either e-mail Careers directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, call Ask4Help on 0191 215 6540 or visit any Ask4Help point within the University Library. We operate on an appointment-only basis at this campus there are no drop-in sessions. We can be found at the Coach Lane Campus Library. Please note that this service is for students studying at Coach Lane Campus only.
