Volunteering whilst you are a student can give you valuable transferrable skills which employers require from graduates. These include: commercial awareness, interpersonal skills, customer focus skills, teamwork, leadership and cultural awareness. You can speak to Careers staff at the Drop-in or Careers Pit Stop about ways to find relevant volunteering opportunities. Voluntary opportunities are also advertised on JobsOnline.

The Drop-In is held Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm during teaching weeks and 1.00pm to 4pm during vacation.

The Careers Pit Stop takes place on Tuesday and Thursday between 1.00pm and 3.00pm.  No appointment is required.
