In order for books to be brought from the shelves you will need to register for our book retrieval service. To do this you will need to speak to a Disability Adviser at Student Support and Wellbeing. The contact telephone number is 0191 227 4127 or you can email for more information.

They will be able to advise the Library what level of support is appropriate for your needs; this may range from extended loan periods, to a retrieval service, a 1-2-1 skills session or a personalised library tour to ensure that you are familiar with the services and resources you need for your learning.
