Careers and Employment Information can be found on the Careers and Employment website, on the eLearning Portal and in The Careers Zone, which is located on the ground floor of the City Campus Library to the left of the Ask4Help desk as you walk in.

Careers and Employment website: Find information to help with your job search, including information on mastering CVs, selection tests and and interviews.  Get help with career planning: Find out what you can do with your degree and discover what's involved in a particular job.  Find information on Careers Events and Employer visits.

Register with JobsOnline to search part-time and vacation jobs, work experience and volunteer roles and graduate vacancies from employers targeting Northumbria students and graduates.

eLearning Portal: Current students can access exclusive online resources including subject specific information, presentations from visiting speakers and employers, practice psychometric tests and streamed DVDS.  Go to the eLP and click the careers tab on the top menu.

Once enrolled we will also email you regularly to keep you posted of any visiting employers, new resources or any careers events which may be of interest to you.

Careers Zone: The Careers Zone holds a range of useful publications, including some take away material.  We have a selection of books within the Career Zone at City Campus Library on a variety of subjects, including job search, CVs and application forms, interviews, selection tests, career planning, occupations and workplace skills. Books can be loaned on a weekly basis on production of a current smartcard. Contact us at nucareers@northumbria.ac.uk for more information or come along to the Careers Zone and browse our career resources.

You can see a careers adviser at the City Campus Library Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm during teaching weeks and 1.00pm to 4.00pm during vacation.

We are also run a Careers Pit Stop, offering specialist drop-in support with our Careers Information Team. This service operates between 1.00pm and 3.00pm each Tuesday and Thursday at City Campus Library.
