You may check the balance of your account at any time by selecting the ‘MyFinance’ option on the MyNorthumbria webpage. This will confirm the current balance, and provide further detail of any outstanding instalments.
If you are late in paying an instalment of your tuition or accommodation fees, then you will receive reminders from the University. These will initially be sent to your Northumbria University e-mail address, but in the absence of any response, we shall also write to your last known contact and home address. Continued failure to pay will ultimately result in being excluded from the University, and the possible use of an external debt collection company.
If you anticipate problems paying your fees on time, please raise a query via the portal link to advise the Credit Control team as soon as possible. Provide as much information as possible of your circumstances – this should include an up to date telephone number and an indication of when payment can be made
