Turnitin is text matching software that compares submitted work to sources in the Turnitin database. Turnitin can be used by your tutor to check that the work you submit for assessment is your own, and that correct use has been made of quotations, citations and references.

Turnitin submission levels are set by your tutor; you may be able to check your own work depending upon these settings.

Turnitin guides on Skills Plus include detailed information and FAQs.
