Q. As a student/ recent graduate, who can I speak to about postgraduate study?

Answer

Our Careers Advisers can discuss postgraduate study with you in person, over the telephone or via email during drop-in which runs from Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm during teachng weeks and 1:00pm to 4:00pm during non teaching weeks. This does not include institutional closure days such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Northumbria graduates can use the Careers Service for up to three years following graduation.

Please report to the Ask4Help desk in the University Library at City Campus. Northumbria graduates must provide details of their course, together with start and end dates, and a valid photographic form of ID such as a Passport of Driving License.

If you are unable to visit during drop-in we can still provide information and advice.  You can submit your questions to nucareers@northumbria.ac.uk, or alternatively telephone us on 0191 227 4646 and we will add your details to the drop-in list for that day (provided the drop in session is not already full when you phone) and a Careers Adviser will call you back.  Please bear in mind visits in person take priority over phone calls, so we cannot give you a precise time when we will call back, but we will call as soon as possible, and within the drop-in hours outlined above.

If you are interested in postgraduate study at Northumbria see these web pages which include information on fees and scholarships, and you can find contact details for particular courses from the course search facility
