Northumbria Skills Programme sessions are offered throughout the academic year. Classroom style workshops and drop-in sessions support you in making the most of your time at university, and help you acquire the skills you need to become an independent and effective scholar.

Bookable skills sessions are held at both City Campus and Coach Lane Libraries and cover many topics including academic writing skills, giving accomplished presentations, and referencing your work correctly.

Regular drop-in sessions are also held at City and Coach Lane, so if you have a specific question or just need general study skills advice pop along – no appointment necessary!
