The City Library Sub-Basement houses the University Library’s Special Collections, print journals, official publications, European Documentation Centre, some print Law Journals and historical law materials, and back copies of newspapers. Some of our book collection can also be found here. Please note that core texts included on University reading lists are housed on floors 1-6 of City Campus Library, at the Law Practice Library and at Coach Lane Library.

The sub-basement is located 2 floors below the ground floor of the City Library. It can be accessed from the ground floor of the Library by descending two flights of the central staircase (the one located through the central double doors on the ground floor) or by pressing button ‘B1’ in the lifts.
