Northumbria University has a number of different WiFi networks available across our campuses, which are suitable for different types of usage. 

Device Wifi Network  Why?

Mobile, Smartphone, iPhone

NU Smartphone

 

Always connect to NU Smartphone if you are using a mobile, smartphone, iPhone, or iPod Touch on campus.  This will give you access to the Internet, Student Desktop or Staff Desktop.  This will give access to your files on the U Drive or standard University application

 

Laptop, iPad, Tablet

NU Simply Web

 

Always connect to NU Simply Web when using a laptop , iPad or tablet on campus for access to the Student Desktop or Staff Desktop.  This will give access to your files on the U Drive or standard University applications.
