If you think you have lost an item(s) in the University Library, please contact the Ask4Help desk at the relevant campus or the Law Practice Library and we will check to see if your property has been handed in.
If you have lost something on campus generally, you should contact Security, who can be reached on 0191 227 3999. All lost property items of significant monetary value found in the University Library will be handed to Security at the end of the day.
If you have lost something from which we can identify you - eg. a smartcard, a USB flash memory device including a file with your name on it etc. - we will endeavor to contact you either via telephone or e-mail.
Please note that we only keep USB sticks for a month after which they will be disposed of, even if we have managed to identify the owner and asked them to collect it.
