Your Smartcard will be de-activated during your year out.

You can access the Library as a visitor, during "core hours" (see: https://library.northumbria.ac.uk/opening-hours for details), by bringing two forms of ID, including proof of current address and photo ID.

If you want to borrow books from the Library, you can join as a subscription borrower; further information is available at: https://library.northumbria.ac.uk/membership.

Access to your Northumbria  IT account will also be deactivated, but you could use the walk-in users PCs at City Campus and Coach Lane Libraries, and will be able to use the guest wifi to connect your own device to the internet. You won't have access to printing facilities, but you can purchase a photocopying card from Ask4Help if needed.
