City Campus

You can come and speak to a Careers Adviser in Student Central at City Campus Library Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm during teaching weeks and 1:00pm to 4:00pm during vacation. This does not include institutional closure days such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Appointments with a Careers Adviser are made as a 'drop-in' on a first come first served basis and can last up to 20 minutes, depending on the type of query you have. To arrange a drop-in appointment please visit an Ask4Help point at Student Central, City Campus Library and we will assign you to the queue, subject to demand.

We also have the Careers Information and Job Search Drop-in, where you can find out information about job vacancies, creating a CV, creating a LinkedIn profile and more. This takes place Monday to Friday, 1:00pm to 3:00pm during teaching weeks in the Advice and Support Zone at Student Central, City Campus Library (Beach Hut). No appointment is necessary. 

City Campus East

The Careers Information and Job Search Drop-in also available at City Campus East. This takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00pm to 3:00pm during teaching weeks on the ground floor (Beach Hut). No appointment is necessary. 

Coach Lane Campus

If you wish to use the service at our Coach Lane Campus, please either e-mail Careers directly at nucareers@northumbria.ac.uk, call Ask4Help on 0191 227 4646 or visit any Ask4Help point within the University Library. We operate on an appointment-only basis at this campus. There are no drop-in sessions. We can be found at the Coach Lane Campus Library. Please note that this service is for students currently studying at Coach Lane Campus only.
