You are responsible for any items that you borrow, and if you have lost or damaged a library book then you will need to pay the replacement costs plus any overdue charges, if applicable.

If you have lost or damaged a book, the Library will contact you to let you know what the replacement cost would be, and this will include any discount that we receive from our supplier.

However, they may also be able to accept a replacement copy, but they will discuss what options are available to you if you find yourself in this situation - please do not purchase a replacement book without contacting us, as it is likely that we will be able to purchase a replacement at a lower cost than is normally available to the public.
