If you require a letter that includes information not available on any of the standard documents available to request or generate from within the Student Portal, you should request an Exceptions Letter.
Please access the Student Portal via the Northumbria University homepage and click on the My Info link on the left hand side of the page. Following this select Menu (the button at the top right of the screen), then the Letter Requests link. You will then be presented with a list of letters you can request or print.
Scroll down to the Exceptions Letter section and click on Request Letter. Please provide us with as much information as you can, what you need included on the letter and why you need it etc. You will then receive an email when it is ready to collect from Student Central, this can take up to 48 hours.
